Sermon Title: Your Valuable is Not Based on Your Performance
Today we celebrate you. You are worth it. What is your value? It's more than a couple sparrows that's for sure. And your value is not based on your performance, the Lord will pay special attention to you.
Sermon Points and Questions
1. Could you explain to a friend why our connection card says the phrase that it does? Do you have that same joy?
2. What is something God knows about you that you don't know about you?
3. What is your most valuable animal. Do you realize you are so much more valuable?
4. What are you doing to value children? How do you understand Jesus strong raising of their value in their culture?
5. How do you know when God is paying special attention to you and "dunging it." Do you sense the growth?
6. Where does your value come from if it isn't physical (or material)?
7. Were you expecting the sermon to end the way it did? Do you really thing being a servant of God is valuable?
Communion today! We remember Jesus' ultimate humble act, selfless act. And wow, was He exalted for it. May we follow Him and praise Him for all He has done for us!

“What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins[b]? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. 7 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
Luke 14:1-6 NLT
One Sabbath day Jesus went to eat dinner in the home of a leader of the Pharisees, and the people were watching him closely. 2 There was a man there whose arms and legs were swollen.[a] 3 Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in religious law, “Is it permitted in the law to heal people on the Sabbath day, or not?” 4 When they refused to answer, Jesus touched the sick man and healed him and sent him away. 5 Then he turned to them and said, “Which of you doesn’t work on the Sabbath? If your son[b] or your cow falls into a pit, don’t you rush to get him out?” 6 Again they could not answer.
Luke 13:6-9 NLT
6 Then Jesus told this story: “A man planted a fig tree in his garden and came again and again to see if there was any fruit on it, but he was always disappointed. 7 Finally, he said to his gardener, ‘I’ve waited three years, and there hasn’t been a single fig! Cut it down. It’s just taking up space in the garden.’8 “The gardener answered, ‘Sir, give it one more chance. Leave it another year, and I’ll give it special attention and plenty of fertilizer. 9 If we get figs next year, fine. If not, then you can cut it down.’”
Luke 17:7-9 NLT
7 “When a servant comes in from plowing or taking care of sheep, does his master say, ‘Come in and eat with me’? 8 No, he says, ‘Prepare my meal, put on your apron, and serve me while I eat. Then you can eat later.’ 9 And does the master thank the servant for doing what he was told to do? Of course not. 10 In the same way, when you obey me you should say, ‘We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.’”

- Also, the last Sunday of this month - if you are not a team or group leader... there will be a prayer meeting during the 9am time in the room to the right of the stage.
